Integration Process

Odin Service Automation (OSA) - is the leading platform for building hosting systems that can offer practically any and every service customers demand. It contains integrated built-in hosting management services , such as:

  • Single centralized management console for managing offers and service delivery.
  • Multi-tier account management model including the provider, resellers, sub-resellers, and customers.
  • Security system with different levels of permissions for protecting the whole system and its components.
  • Resource (service) and product management system implementing flexible sales models.
  • Comprehensive billing system.
  • Built-in mechanisms for providing various hosting services, e.g. web, FTP, mail, virtual servers, and DNS (registration and hosting).
  • Out-of-box customizable online store for selling products.

For system integrators, the key point is that OSA can integrate with proprietary cloud applications and systems, thus building multiple SaaS (software as a service) and IaaS (infrastructure as a service) systems on the same platform. The main part of OSA that implements this integration is APS (application packaging standard). To integrate a cloud application with OSA, you need to develop an integration package (APS application package) compliant with the APS.

This document guides system integrator (SI) or independent software vendor (ISV) staff through the process of onboarding the staff and integrating applications with OSA.
